Rodriguez Calero’s collages are highly lyrical yet imbued with a tension and intent found in Zen poetry.  A style of painting she calls acrollage, Rodriguez Calero builds layered images that strike a form of visual balance between spirituality and urbanity.  Like light and shadow, the work of these two artists, Henry Jose Bermudez and Rodriguez Calero, emits a brightness and darkness, whose visions are irresistibly enchanting with their sheer yet subtle power.

While most of the works in the collection are from wonderful exhibitions held at the WAH Center, some works in the collection were not exhibited at the center, but donated by our generous friends.
